SOUTH Kesteven District Council claims it has drawn up a plan that will attract 7,000 extra homes and 2,500 new jobs to Grantham.

SKDC’s cabinet has just approved the far-reaching plans which, using their own capital investment and planning processes, will lever in tens of millions of pounds across the district, according to the authority.

Economic Development portfolio holder Cllr Frances Cartwright said: “The plans for Grantham between now and 2021 are exciting and ambitious and we are fully committed to working with landowners, developers, investors and local people to get the very best results.”
