A LEVEL RESULTS: Grantham College students celebrating best ever results and 99% pass rate
Students and their lecturers at Grantham College are celebrating the best ever year of A Level results with 99% of students passing their qualification.
Paul Deane, Principal of the college said “I would like to congratulate our A Level students on delivering our best ever A Level results with a 99% pass rate overall and a 100% pass rate in 16 of the 17 subjects we offer. This is a truly outstanding result and a testament to the dedication of our staff and the hard work of our students. I would like to thank them and all the family and friends of our students that have supported them to achieve such success. Last week Grantham College came in the top ten Universities and Colleges in England for overall student satisfaction for our Higher Education provision and these A Level results again confirm that Grantham College is a great place to study.”
Christie Naryce, a previous student of Kings School in Germany is celebrating her first year of A Levels with AABC grades in Psychology, Sociology, Biology and Chemistry.
Marcus O’Callaghan is celebrating his double A grades in Law and Sociology and is looking forward to starting at Sheffield Hallam in a few weeks time.
Joe Pilkington, who came to Grantham College from the Wirral for the Table Tennis Academy, is off to study Business Management at the University of Nottingham following his results of AAB in Business, Economics and Law. Joe says “My tutor for Business and Economics, Kate Hanks, was inspirational and she really helped me through. I got higher grades than I expected and I’m over the moon.”
Aisha Swaep who came to the college from the West Grantham Academy St Hugh’s is overjoyed with her results of A*BC in Extended Project, Law and Business. Aisha is thrilled to soon be starting at Nottingham Trent where she will be studying Business Law.
Maciej Walerowski achieved AABB grades in Physics Chemistry, Maths and Economics and is looking forward to studying Chemistry at the University of Loughborough in September.
Oliver Mitchell will be studying Physics at Nottingham Trent following successfully achieving BCC in Physics, Biology and Maths.
