An air ambulance, firefighters and police all attended an accident that left people trapped in a cement lorry cab this afternoon.

At 2.14pm crews from Grantham attended the scene on Ruston Road, Grantham.

They used cutting equipment to free people who had become trapped in the cement lorry’s cab, following what is believed to have been a collision involving only the lorry. An air ambulance was also seen landing at Alma Park.

No serious injuries were reported by police.
