Air ambulance called to medical emergency

The air ambulance was called to a medical emergency at an address in Grantham yesterday.

The emergency was reported at 11.44am and was responded to by several vehicles.

A spokesman for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 11.44am on September 9 to a private address in Grantham. The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent a paramedic in a fast response car, a road ambulance and an air ambulance."

An EMAS spokesman said they could not say exactly where the ambulance was called to as it was a private address and they could potentially break patient confidentiality.
