Air ambulance flies casualty from Belton House to Lincoln Hospital

An air ambulance flew a casualty from Belton House on Monday following an incident in the play area.

A spokesman for East Midlands Ambulance Service said the incident happened at 1.45pm when a caller reported a teenager had fallen in the children’s play area and a second patient was feeling unwell.

A paramedic in a fast response vehicle was first to the scene and called the control room for support as both patients needed assistance.

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance arrived on scene to support the paramedic and both patients were taken to Lincoln County Hospital, one by land, one in the helicopter.
