Ten-year-old Tara McAdam-James lost her long locks last Thursday, and raised £250 for the Little Princess Trust.

The Trust make wigs for children going through cancer treatment, and has received a lot of support from young fundraisers in and around Grantham.

Proud mum Lisa McAdam was among those watching at Blunt Hair Salon as Tara made the kind donation.

Lisa said: “It was a bit emotional for mummy but afterwards Tara went to the school disco at Gonerby Hill Foot Primary and showed off her new hair cut.

She added: “Tara is amazed at the generosity of people.” If you would like to donate, go to https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/taramcadamjames1
