Appeal for witnesses to robbery in Grantham park

Police have today issued an appeal for witnesses to a robbery in a Grantham park, whick took place almost three weeks ago.

The robbery of a 25-year-old man happened in Wyndham Park, near to the junction with Hill Avenue, at around 1am on Friday, July 22.

The victim is thought to have been approached by two men who used force to take his wallet from him. The victim sustained minor injuries.

He described one of the suspects as being aged around 30, 6ft 4ins tall and having an Eastern European accent. The suspect had short fair hair and wore old tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101.
