Long Bennington vehicle preparation business could be approved by South Kesteven District Council
Planning permission for a call-off facility with a vehicle preparation building is due to be discussed by the planning committee this week.
The planning application for the site in Long Bennington will be discussed by the SKDC planning committee during their meeting on Thursday (October 28) at 1pm.
Principal planning officer, Phil Jordan, has recommended the application is approved conditionally.
Permission has been asked for a call-off facility which comprises of a vehicle preparation building as well as office and welfare buildings, storage containers, a spray booth building and security gatehouse.
This would all be built on the Roseland Business Park which is currently used for storage.
The application has been referred to the committee for several reasons, including the impact on neighbouring land uses and the character of the area, as well as it's impact on biodiversity, ecology and flood risk.
