Attack in Grantham in broad daylight leaves man with serious injury




A man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Grantham in broad daylight, suffering a serious injury.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after the attack in Brook Street, at around 3.30pm last Tuesday.

He was walking along Brook Street, close to the junction with North Street, when the offender blocked his path. While attempting to walk away the victim believes he was then kicked, resulting in serious injury.

His attacker described as white, 5ft 4ins, with short black hair. He is believed to have been wearing a black anorak and hoody.

A police spokesman said: "Please get in touch if you have any information that could assist this enquiry."
