Belton Woods golfer Andy Hey joined 300 other cyclists for the annual Lincoln C2C2C charity ride from Lincoln Castle to Chapel St Leonards and back.

His objective was to raise as much money as possible for club captain Ian Williams’ chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation.

It was a 100-mile round trip, to which Andy added a further 35 miles so he could beat his personal best – set 31 years ago when he was 19 – for distance cycled in a day.

Andy has so far raised £700 but he hopes to meet his target of £1,000.
