Members of The Druids Motorcycle Club have given a large donation to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance together with Anna Edmonds, the licensee at The Crown Inn at Sproxton.

The money was donated following the club’s autumn rally at the pub in December last year.

Around 130 bikers were catered for by The Crown Inn and the village cricket club allowed them to camp on their field.

The Druids also made an undisclosed donation to Sproxton Village Hall.

Generous village resident Mr Reggie Williams also donated £500 to the air ambulance charity which he does annually.

All of the money that has been donated will go towards helping the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance in carrying out the vital work that they do.
