Bottesford parish residents urged to take part in neighbourhood plan consultation

Planning news.

Residents in the Bottesford area are being asked how they would like to see the parish develop over the next 25 years as a steering group puts together a neighbourhood plan.

Under the auspices of Bottesford Parish Council, the steering group is making significant progress. The latest stage is the distribution of a questionnaire to every household, encouraging comment on a wide range of issues, including housing needs.

There will then be a further consultation exercise on December 12 in the Old School when residents will be able to give their opinions on sites with potential for housing development.

Villages are urged to take part in the consultation, which will help form the plan before it goes to a referendum. If approved, the neighbourhood plan will steer the future of development in the parish.
