Brant Broughton fire crew helps rescue horse from river

A Brant Broughton fire crew rescued a horse from a river yesterday afternoon.

The Brant Broughton crew were joined by an aAnimal rescue crew from Sleaford using special equipment to rescue the horse from the river near Lowfields, Navenby. The crews were called out at 1.18pm.

A Grantham fire crew put out a pile of garden waste on fire in The Drive, Grantham, using one hose reel just after 6pm.
