Burglaries and vehicle thefts on the rise in Bingham

There was an increase in the number of burglaries and thefts from vehicles in Bingham last week.

On Monday jewellery was taken from a house on Fairfield Street while the occupants were away on holiday (incident number 610 of November 3).

Then on Wednesday between 7.30am and 9.50pm a window was smashed in a burglary on Calder Gardens, and a car stolen (incident number 948 of November 5).

On the same day a sat nav was taken from a vehicle parked on Carnarvon Place (incident number 140 of November 5) and tools from a van between 12 noon and 3pm (incident number 519 of November 5).

There was also an attempted break-in at a home on Long Acre East (incident number 469 of November 5).

Money was taken from an insecure vehicle at an unknown time on Thursday (incident 370 of November 6), and there was another attempted burglary with damage to the front door of a Carnarvon Close property on Friday (incident 121 of November 7).
