Police say there have been a number of shed burglaries in Grantham in which tools have been stolen.

The burglaries have taken place in the Hill Avenue and Bridge End Road areas of town. Power tools are among the main items to have been stolen.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “Please lock sheds and out buildings and try not to leave expensive tools in an unlocked garage/shed. If you see anything suspicious or have anything you would like to report please ring 101 in confidence or your local NPT team.”
