Customer Colin Edmonson cuts the ribbon to open a new-look pharmacy in Grantham.
Cheerful Colin is a popular regular visitor to the Lloyds Pharmacy, in New Beacon Road, which is pioneering a new approach to community health.
The pharmacy offers improved access to healthcare information and support, as well as enhanced services for a number of conditions, including skin health and the treatment and management of pain, diabetes and asthma.
Pharmacy manager Liz White and her eight-strong team are settling into their new home.
She said: “Our new store is comfortable and welcoming. We can offer customers a wider, complete service.
“We know many sufferers from long-term conditions don’t always want to go to the doctor every time they have a question.
”We are providing services that complement GPs and other healthcare professionals in convenient, pleasant surroundings.”
Liz has been with the pharmacy for more than 10 years, Jane Blow more than eight years, Sandra Brailsford and Karen Yates have both served eight years, John Kirton for six years, while pharmacist Enrico Pignotti has worked there for three years.
