‘Help to Buy’ drop-in advice sessions will be held at the South Kesteven District Council offices in St Peter’s Hill on July 1.
Sessions are part of a county-wide roadshow, and will run between 10am and 3pm.
Help to Buy helps people buy homes through its equity loan and shared ownership schemes. The free events will provide information on the various ‘Help to Buy’ options and there will be affordability assessments and general mortgage advice from an independent financial adviser.
Rachel Harrison, marketing and PR officer at Help to Buy Midlands, said: “With more and more people aiming to own a home, our free events provide the perfect opportunity to find out about the different Help to Buy options and how they can help make home ownership more affordable.”
The Help to Buy Midlands team will also be delivering training to local authority staff to increase referrals and raise awareness of the scheme.
Help to Buy is available to first-time buyers as well as current home-owners who want to move. Individuals interested learning more about Help to Buy should go along to one of the events, visit www.helptobuymidlands.co.uk or call 03458 502050.
