Jobs are being created at a leading financial services company in Grantham.
Bosses at Totemic Holdings are seeking to recruit an unspecified number of people to fill various vacancies.
The company plans to hold a recuitment open day at Totemic House, in Springfield Road, on January 22.
A spokeswoman for the firm said: “We encourage anyone interested in working with us to come along with their CV to find out more about the company and our vacancies.”
News of the job creation comes as figures from the Office of National Statistics show that the number of people claining Jobseeker’s Allowance in Grantham is falling and is about 1,040.
A spokeswoman for Totemic said: “Our vacancies include customer service advisors, mortgage protection advisors and several roles within accounts, marketing, sales and internal auditing.
She added: “We are always looking for enthusiastic, positive, proactive people to join our team.”
Totemic was created about 20 years ago and currently employs 1,140 people in offices in Grantham, Long Bennington, Newark, Nottingham, Birmingham and Lisbon, in Portugal.
The company specialises in financial services and offers a range of products and services including insurances, mortgage and debt advice.
It set up the debt management service PayPlan which now manages the debts of more than 100,000 people and helps more than 90,000 people a year who call the firm’s helplines.
The spokeswoman said: “Without our dedicated and professional colleagues there would be no company and we always focused on the need to grow and nurture talent.
“We have grown significantly since our small beginnings over 20 years ago and now employ approximately 1,000 people in the UK and more than 140 in Lisbon.”
The recruitment day starts at 10am and ends at noon.
