Busy evening for Grantham firefighters

Firefighters were called out to two incidents in Grantham yesterday evening (Wednesday).

The first was at just after 5.05pm, when they attended a tumble dryer fire in Harlaxton Road. The cause has not yet been determined.

Then at 6.52pm, a crew was called to New Street where alarms were sounding. There was no fire – alarms were set off by cooking fumes.
