Cable theft stops trains running between Grantham and Nottingham

Trains are not running between Nottingham and Grantham because of a cable theft in Netherfield.

National Rail says trains will not be running normally until 1pm.

Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich are being diverted and will not call at Grantham. Journey times will be extended by approximately 10 minutes.

Passengers travelling between Grantham and Norwich can use alternative train services to Peterborough to connect with train services to Norwich.

Passengers are being taken by bus between Nottingham and Grantham. A limited train service is running between Grantham and Skegness
