Car blaze at Foston service station

A car caught fire while parked in a petrol station off the A1 north of Grantham yesterday (Saturday).

Firefighters from Grantham were called to the service station at Foston just after 1.50pm.

They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

The fire was caused by a cam belt failure, according to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
