Stuart Pigram arrived in Grantham 13 years ago and now proudly calls it “home”.

During that time he has certainly made his mark, as well as cutting a dash in his trademark striped suits, which he began wearing when he worked in insurance in London.

Now group sales director of the Trust Insurance Group and based in Guildhall Street, Grantham, Stuart, 40, is chairman of the Grantham Business Club and a director of Grantham Town Football Club.

He is a keen runner and has completed three London Marathons. He will be running for a local charity in the 26.2-mile event this year as well.

Stuart is married to Sharon and they have two children, Jake, 12, and Emily, 9, and live at Barrowby Lodge.

“I am very proud to call Grantham home, even though I am not originally from the area. I think it is a fantastic place to live with so much going for it,” said Stuart. “I hope I can play a role in helping the town, its people and rest of the area progress.”
