Police are today warning residents and appealing for information after a number of ATM cash points in the Sleaford and Grantham areas have had devices attached to the cash dispense slot to prevent money from being issued.

If you have any information, you believe you may have been a victim, or if you have seen anything suspicious over the weekend of the January 23 and 24 in Grantham or Sleaford, call 101 and quote incident 284 of January 23.

A police spokesman said: “Always exercise caution if you think that an ATM may have been tampered with in any way. Do not attempt to draw out cash.”
