Celebrating 45 years as Grantham Almshouse trustee

Grantham Almshouse trustee Bob Jeffreys recently celebrated his retirement after 45 years of service.

Mr Jeffreys was presented with an engraved glass trophy and certificate by the chairman, Councillor Ray Wootten, in recognition of his service to the community for the past 45 years with Grantham Almshouses.

Mr Jeffreys was treated to afternoon tea at Allington Manor, which was attended by past and present trustees.

Coun Wootten said: “Bob has been a dedicated member of the trustees and will be missed by all of the residents.”
