The Jubilee Church Life Centre welcomed more than 150 people, from 17 different nations to enjoy a wonderful evening at its ‘Meet the Nations’ event.
The annual event, held on Saturday of last week included games and activities for the children, the opportunity to learn about national dress from other countries and the opportunity to partake in tasting a wide variety of traditional foods together.
Volunteer Pat Whittaker said: “The party brought many different groups together to build new and existing friendships, as we shared a meal together.
“We also had lots of young people at the event who got involved in the ‘Live Sound Project’, helping to make the evening a huge success.”
