The Mayor of Grantham, Linda Wootten, officially opened a new antiques centre in Grantham on Friday.

The Antiques Store, in Union Street, Grantham, managed by husband and wife team, Frankie Milford and Charlotte Milford, of Newark, will be home to up to 70 dealers selling a fresh and exciting mix of antique, collectable and vintage wares to suit all.

The couple, who have run the well established Field Dog Fairs Ltd for the last six years, have signed a long term lease on the property and are delighted to have opened their own store in Grantham.

Mrs Milford said: “We wanted to find somewhere special and something a bit different. We hope to make our new store, and Grantham, the go-to place for antiques.”

The centre will be managed by Neil Raynor, formerly of the Northgate Auction Rooms in Newark.

The store is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5pm, and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
