Chainsaw and petrol cutter stolen from Belton House among thefts north of Grantham

A theft from the grounds of Belton House took place at the weekend, while several other thefts have been reported in villages north of Grantham.

On Sunday a Stihl petrol chainsaw and a Florabest petrol brush cutter were taken from a shed at the entrance lodge of Belton House (incident number 240 of 13/12/15).

A property on Chapel Lane in Foston was entered on December 9, and £400 along with a box of cigarettes were stolen (incident number 130 of 9/12/15).

On Monday a property was entered on School Lane, Claypole, and a wallet and mobile phone were taken (incident number 327 of 14/12/15).

A garage and outbuildings were also entered on December 14, at Wong Gardens in Barrowby, but nothing was taken (incident number 236 of 14/12/15).

On Tuesday a workshop was broken into on Church Street, and a motorbike Sherco 450 was stolen. Its registration number is YX54 AHF (incident number 244 of 15/12/15).
