Pre-schoolers 'graduate' from Manthorpe Pre-School Playgroup

Manthorpe Pre-School Playgroup bade farewell to eight pupils last Friday with a special graduation ceremony attended by South Kesteven District Council Chairman Councillor Jacky Smith.

Coun Smith handed out graduation certificates and said that she hoped the playgroup graduates do well as they go on to primary schools in and around Grantham.

“We are fortunate to have such a high quality playgroup here in Manthorpe, one that can prepare young children for their primary education,” she said. “I wish these youngsters all the very best.”

The playgroup, which is a good cause registered with LotterySK to raise funds, was deemed to be an 'outstanding' early years provider in its last Ofsted inspection.
