Festive staff at leading chartered accountants Duncan & Toplis raised more than £300 for charity by donning their Christmas jumpers.

Employees in the company’s 11 offices across the East Midlands raised £350 for three separate charities.

Christmas Jumper Day was embraced with surprisingly few duplicate jumpers.

Adrian Reynolds, managing director, said: “Christmas Jumper Day was embraced by every office within the Duncan & Toplis group with surprisingly few duplicate jumpers on display.

He added: “In addition, a variety of other activities were organised to coincide with the day including cake sales and a gift wrapping service, which have all contributed to raising a very respectable amount of money for the Text Santa appeal – showing that contrary to popular opinion, accountants can have fun!”

Duncan & Toplis also has office in Boston, Lincoln, Loughborough, Louth, Melton Mowbray, Newark, Skegness, Sleaford, Spalding and Stamford.
