Climate protesters gather in Grantham
A large group of protesters have gathered in Grantham as part of a global "climate strike" day.
Members of South Lincolnshire Green Party as well as families, workers and schoolchildren met on St Peters Hill this afternoon to fight for 'climate justice'.
Vesper Lee, 13, is at the strike with her mum.
The Kesteven Grantham Girls' School pupil said: "There is only one planet so we need to look after it. I am very worried about my future."
Elizabeth Hesselworth who lives in Grantham, brought her guitar along to the strike.
She said: "We are destroying the earth by the way we are behaving and not leaving anything for our future generation. We are being selfish in our actions and need to act now."
Millions are taking part around the world with rallies Glasgow, Manchester and London.
