Lincolnshire County Council have announced that re-surfacing work will start on the B1174 at North Parade, Grantham tonight.

The roadworks will take place between 6pm and midnight, during which the road will be closed and a signed diversion will be in place.

The work is scheduled to take three nights to complete, excluding the weekend and bank holiday, with the last closure expected to take place on Tuesday, May 5.

It is the last Grantham stage of a multi-million pound project to replace the surface on various principal roads across the county. The work has been funded by part of Lincolnshire County Council’s allocation of £5.4million from the Department for Transport under the Government’s pothole fund, with £450k being used for roads in Grantham.
