Close to home is a route through Grantham’s Hills and Hollows, while further afield is Nocton Wood and the Wolds, Surfleet Seas End and Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes.

Catherine said: “Walking the great outdoors with your dog is fun for the whole family.

“Lincolnshire offers you all that freedom and adventure.”

The book, published by Countryside Books, also factors in advice for walkers, such as distance and whether livestock is likely to be nearby.

The guide, at £7.95, is available at local book shops or via the Countryside Books website.
