Colsterworth woman promoted to sales manager with Persimmon Homes

Persimmon Homes East Midlands has appointed a new sales manager as it strives to build 700 new homes across the region this year.

Katie Bland, from Colsterworth, has been promoted from sales advisor to sales manager.

Katie will be based at the East Midlands office in Commerce Road, Peterborough.

Mother-of-one Katie, 38, has been with the company for just over a year. She had previously worked as a pub landlady in Newark but chose to call time on that career and look for a fresh challenge.

She said: “I’m really enjoying it. There is a really good buzz about the company and it’s a seven day a week role, which I’ve always liked.

“I plan to stay with the company as there is a strong focus on promotion within.”

Cheryl Bissett, sales and marketing director at Persimmon Homes East Midlands, said: “It’s great to welcome Katie into her new role. She shone as a sales advisor and I’m sure she will be a great success in her managerial role.

“Persimmon Homes has always had a strong emphasis on developing its staff and promoting from within.”
