A combine harvester fire set alight 15 acres of standing crops near the A52 at Haceby near Sleaford last night, Thursday August 13.

Fire Crews from Billingborough, Donington, Billinghay and Grantham attended and used six hose reels, beaters and water back packs to combat the flames.

Severe damage was caused to a New Holland combine harvester.

The cause was a mechanical problem within the combine harvester
