Community rallies together to improve Grantham school's grounds

Staff from Belmont Primary School were joined by members from Woodland Trust, Londonthorpe and Harrowby Without Parish Council and Friends of Belmont School at their recent grounds evening.

The team worked together to improve and spruce up the school's ground by clearing the paths around the pond in the wildlife area and planting flowers

A spokesman at the school on Harrowby Lane, said: "There is now a fantastic new fence around the gazebo, making this a special quiet place where children can go to chat, read and relax."
