Corby Glen firefighters tackle bungalow blaze

Three fire crews tackled a blaze at a bungalow after a fire spread from an external shed.

Firefighters from Corby Glen, Bourne and Sleaford were called to the scene on Scarborough Close, Rippingale, at 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon, after the fire spread to the roof of one bungalow.

The fire crews needed four breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames using two hose reels.

The fire caused damage to one domestic shed and contents.
