The Big Interview: Grantham man Ian celebrates 25 years helping young and old as a councillor

Ian Selby is celebrating 25 years as a councillor with South Kesteven District Council.

The Grantham man was first elected on September 7, 1995, in a by-election in the rural Isaac Newton ward, becoming the first and only Labour candidate to win a rural seat in the authority.

He retained the seat at the following two elections in 1999 and in 2003.
