Highways boss disappointed after Lincolnshire awarded half the funding wanted from emergency travel fund




The executive councillor responsible for highways says he is disappointed after the county was only awarded half the funding it wanted for better cycling and pedestrian facilities.

Grantham county councillor Richard Davies was responding to the news that Lincolnshire County Council has been awarded £105,500 from the Department for Transport's emergency active travel fund.

Earlier this week, the county council submitted plans to the Department for Transport for funding to make changes to town centres including Grantham.
