Grantham court: Arson case ‘too serious’ for magistrates to decide

A man charged with arson with intent to endanger life was told the case was too serious to be heard by magistrates.

Keith Prescott of Station Road in Grantham has yet to enter a plea to the charge which relates to an alleged incident in Second Avenue in September of last year.

Prescott, 53, is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on May 10.

He was given unconditional bail.
