The case of a 53-year-old Grantham man who pleaded guilty to ABH, damaging a marble table and common assault has been adjourned because he has yet to be interviewed for a pre-sentence report.

Christopher West of Shakespeare Avenue had previously entered guilty pleas to charges of assaulting a woman, occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault of the same victim, and criminal damage. Magistrates adjourned sentencing to July 7 so West could be interviewed by the probation service and a report prepared, and he remained on conditional bail.
