A Grantham man who attacked a woman in a domestic setting must wait three weeks to be sentenced.

Darren Codd, of Melbourne Road, admitted two charges of assaulting a woman in Harris Way and a charge of criminal damage.

The court heard Codd, 39, was in a relationship with the woman at the time.

Jim Clare, prosecuting, said Codd told police officers he was heavily in drink when he committed the offences and has little memory of what happened.

Sentencing was adjourned until October 22. Codd was released on bail with the condition he does not go to an address in Harris Way, Grantham.
