A drink driver was stopped by police when they saw his car swerve and hit a kerb.
Eduards Purvinskis, 43, of High Street, Grantham, admitted drink driving in Grantham on March 11.
Prosecuting, Tracey Ross said it was 2.18pm when police saw Purvinskis swerve his Renault Espace and hit the kerb in North Parade. At the police station he gave a breath test reading of 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Purvinskis told the court he had drunk some beer after a hard shift at work.
He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £230. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
