A 20-year-old man on a night out kicked out at shop windows as he was led away from a Grantham bar by door staff.

Jordan Doll, of Manor Drive, Great Gonerby, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Grantham, on November 17.

Prosecuting, Shelley Wilson told the court that police officers were made aware that staff at the Late Lounge in Market Place needed help as Doll was causing a problem there. They saw Doll being restrained and led away along the High Street. They learned that Doll had been refused entry because he was drunk and had refused to accept it.

Mrs Wilson told the court that Doll was “lashing out at the shop fronts” and “kicking out at the windows of the shops”. He was then arrested by the officers.

Doll, who was unrepresented, told magistrates he had nothing to say. He was fined £135 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
