Grantham court: Homeless person denies theft of food and wine and being abusive

A man denied stealing food and wine and using threatening or abusive words in the Isaac Newton Centre in Grantham.

Neil Jeans, 46, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to stealing the items, valued at £19.60, from Morrisons, and to using threatening words on June 27.

The case was adjourned for trial on October 22.

Jeans was given bail on condition he live at St Mary’s Church hostel in Lincoln and report daily to Lincoln Police Station.
