Grantham driver admits drink-driving

A DRIVER who was stopped by police for not wearing a seat-belt was found to be over the drink-drive limit.

Kevin Vernalls, of Alexandra Road, Grantham already has two previous convictions for drink-driving, the court heard.

Vernalls, 34, admitted drink-driving.

Giles Tyas, defending, said: “He co-operated fully with the police officers and at the police station.”

Vernalls’ case was adjourned until September 3 for pre-sentence reports.

He was released on unconditional bail.
