Grantham pair charged over burglary

A GRANTHAM pair were charged with burglary and theft from a vehicle over the weekend.

Lee Colin Marten, 26, of no fixed abode, Grantham, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were both arrested and charged with burglary in relation to an offence on July 28 in Portmarnock Way, Grantham.

A handbag, purse and cash were stolen from the house.

They were also charged with another offence on the same day in which DVDs and a sat nav were stolen from a car in Woodbrook, Grantham.

Both were remanded in custody to appear at Grantham Magistrates’ Court today.
