AN armed forces store at RAF Cranwell has been fined £80 after selling alcohol to an under-age teenager.

The NAAFI (Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes) store was fined following a test purchasing operation by Lincolnshire Police.

The police also targeted six stores in Grantham and Stamford but they all passed by refusing to serve the under-aged youngsters.

Sgt Jock Watt said: “It is really pleasing to see that so many retailers are trading responsibly.”
