Long Bennington and Marston burglaries might be linked, say police

Police are appealing for information on two burglaries that could be linked

The first took place in Costa Row, Long Bennington, between 7pm and 10pm on Saturday, in which an offender broke in through a patio window at the back of the property and stole £200 cash and a black Dell Inspiron laptop.

In the potentially linked incident, a burglar broke into a house in Toll Bar Road, Marston, some time between 6pm and 7.25pm on the same night.

They stole around £180 cash and a laptop.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the offences to get in touch with them as soon as possible.

Anyone with information, or who might have seen anything suspicious in either village on Saturday night, is asked to call the non-emergency 101 number, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
