Man admits being abusive on train

A MAN who got drunk at a friend’s funeral in London and then got on a train to York became aggressive after a conductor asked him if he wanted a seat in first class.

Keith Turner, of Olympian Court, York, set off the alarm in the toilets by smoking and became abusive with the female train conductor, who fetched her colleague when she saw he was unsteady on his feet.

Turner, 52, who was taking prescribed medication, admitted racially aggravated harassment against one conductor and behaviour causing harassment to the other. His case was adjourned for reports.
