Man had 13g of Ketamine on passenger seat

STOPPING to sleep in a layby on the A1 near Grantham landed a man with a nine month conditional discharge.

Oliver Warner, 22, was asleep when officers knocked on his car window at 1.35am on February 20.

Jill Derby, prosecuting, said: “On the passenger seat was a bag containing white powder, he told the officers it was Ketamine for his own personal use.

“It was valued at approximately £130.”

Warner, who started using the drug three years ago, admitted having the 13g bag which he bought before driving home to his home in Pott Row, Kings Lynn.

He had attempted to stop using the drugs previously and recently contacted a help service in his home town.

He was made to pay £85 costs.
